The Palmetto Grid+ plan is now live for Energy Backup Customers
By enrolling, customers can unlock:

✅More favorable solar buyback rates than their current provider
✅Grid participation benefits while still enjoying full Energy Backup protection
The Palmetto Energy Backup Grid Plan, in collaboration with Light Energy, is a 12-month fixed electricity plan created for customers who have battery storage. It blends traditional electricity service with renewable energy benefits, rewarding you for storing power and helping to support the grid when needed.
Customers earn bill credits for any solar energy they send back to the grid (if applicable) and for the capacity of their battery system. These credits can significantly reduce annual energy costs—potentially saving:
$650 to $1,300 per year from Battery Bonus Credits AND
Over $1,000 per year in solar buyback credits for the typical solar customer
With 100% renewable energy and predictable pricing, this plan supports both sustainability and savings for homeowners who want to get the most from their solar investment.
